Day 01
Arrival in Gangtok
On your arrival at the Bagdogra Airport or railway station, you will be picked by the Swan Tours representative awaiting you. You will come across the Mahananda wildlife sanctuary where you can spot a large number of elephants followed by river Teesta, Melli, Rangpo, Singtam, and Ranipool which are the small settlements or towns. You will check-in the resort or hotel and stay overnight post having dinner!
Day 02
Excursion to Changu Lake and Baba Mandir
Wake up to the morning breakfast and start with your guided trip to the Changu lake that is very beautiful amidst the high mountains of East Sikkim with blue color. You can further take a cable car ride, Baba HarbajanMandir where you pay homage to the saint. On the way, you can also pay a visit to the Nathu La Pass followed by your return to Gangtok in a drive where you have a delicious meal and stay overnight after relaxing.
Day 03
North Sikkim visit - Lachen
After having breakfast in the morning, you will start with the drive to a small village in North Sikkim that is known as Lachen. En-route pay a visit to Tashi viewpoint and mighty Kanchendzonga mountain views. Further, discover new places like, seven sister waterfalls, The Planters Home, Singhik viewpoint, and lastly stop the journey at Lachen. Check-in the hotel that is pre-booked ad stay overnight!
Day 04
Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Drive to Lachung
Post eating the morning breakfast, you will head to the Gurudongmar lake that is considered holy and sacred with miraculous waters as believed by the locals who have faith. After this, you can visit Thangu the summer settlement of the yak herders and Chopta valley where you can spot the yaks grazing. You will drive back to Lachen at the end of the day and then to Lachung after having lunch. These villages take you to the best version of nature in the Northeast. Lastly, check-in the hotel prescribed hotel at Lachung and stay overnight!
Day 05
Excursion to Yumthang Valley and Drive to Temi Tea Garden
Have the morning breakfast and start with a guided drive to the Yumthang Valley that is considered to be the most beautiful in Sikkim. You can explore the hot spring and the riverside along with a delicious and hearty lunch post which you will head to the beautiful tea garden of Temi. Complete the check-in formalities and stay overnight after having dinner!
Day 06
Sightseeing visit to Namchi and Ravanglaenroute to Pelling
In the wake of the morning breakfast, catch excellent insights of an outing to the lush green tea gardens and snow-clad mountains with cherry blossoms widespread. Start with your travel to Namchi and Samdruptse that are considered to be the major tourist attractions that are often visited by the Buddhist devotees. This is the 138 feet statue of the patron saint of Sikkim Guru Padmasambhava which is the tallest in the world. Later, proceed to the other places like, Chardham which is a known pilgrimage center that lies 5 km away from the town of Namchi in South Sikkim followed by the Buddha Park at Ravangla that is a beautiful religious paek in Ravangla in SOuth Sikkim that is also known as TathagataTsal housing a 130 feet high statue of Lord Buddha surrounded by beautiful garden and colored lights. After the day comes to an end, you will check-in the hotel and stay overnight in Pelling.
Day 07
Pelling to Manglebarey via Dentam valley and Rinchepong Monastery
Soon after you have breakfast, you will leave for a visit to the Kanchendzonga peak views for an early sunrise followed by the visit to Pelling helipad. Later, proceed to Pemayangtse Monastery that is just like a sublime lotus and is a monastery that is located on the hilltop followed by a drive to the beautiful Dentam valley and Singshore Bridge. After lunch, you will go out on a drive to Rinchenpong and the heritage monastery post which you will head to Azings and its thang heritage farm. Enjoying hiking around the farms and villages after which you will stay overnight after dinner!
Day 08
Depart for Bagdogra Airport
Wake up to the morning breakfast and depart for the airport or railways station after check-out from the hotel. Once you reach, the wonderful Sikkim Tour Packages from Delhi will come to an end.
